Event Details
Swing Island is an opportunity to practice CLASSIC swing (Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Balboa, Charleston, etc.). A practice environment where one can perfect newly acquired moves, gain feedback from peers and have a good time. We encourage everyone to come with something in mind you would like to work on.
There is no cover and there are no formal lessons provided. We ask that you support the Forest City Brewery as they support us.
Forest City Brewery is just off West 25th Street in Ohio City (access is actually gained from Freeman Ave.) Remember, the best way to put a smile on the owners face is to spend a little money.
