The Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque, founded in 1986, presents movies in the CIA's 616-seat, 35mm and SR stereo-equipped Russell B. Aitken Auditorium. Videotapes and 16mm films are sometimes shown in the CIA's 100-seat Ohio Bell Auditorium.

The CSU Theater Arts Building is home to the campus of the Cleveland State University or CSU as it is called. The university runs a Dramatic Arts program that puts up performances and equips its graduates adequately to enter the theatrical profession. Auditions for many movies are held here too as the University is home to budding talent that is sure to make it big in the field of dramatics.

Post the renovation, the brand new Hanna Theatre is all set to host popular theatre festivals and many more plays. It's a part of the Playhouse Square . The seating arrangement is very inviting from the stage of the orchestra, considering its new ambiance. There are interesting shows like 'The Comedy of Errors' and 'The Great Lake Theater Festival' hosted at the theater.

Severance Hall, the home of the Cleveland Orchestra, is located in Cleveland’s University Circle neighborhood. The 2100-seat neo-classical concert hall was a gift of Cleveland businessman, John L. Severance and his wife, Elisabeth.
