Kenko means “Health” in Japanese. With the mission to provide fast and healthy dining options to consumers while furnishing a casual and relaxing atmosphere, the first Kenko Sushi & Teriyaki store opened its door in July of 2015 in University Circle.

Get to know Kenko Cleveland
Being the owner of a premium Sushi and Hibachi restaurant in Strongsville, Ohio since 2004, one of the co-founders of Kenko, Shenglong Yu, derived the idea of a Chipotle-style sushi bar back in 2008, with the Shinto Jin Teki roll. That idea really ripened and took off after couple years.
